Moonfall

I really recommend Moonfall…if you have a dining room table that’s slightly wobbly. Moonfall on Blu-ray might be just the right height to stick under that problem leg to keep your table stable!

Honestly, this is the most embarrassed I’ve been by a moon since the time my pants ripped at my 12th grade talent show.     The writing, the premise, it was like someone smacked a piñata filled with disaster movie clichés and every one of them fell out.

Imagine if that $3 DVD bin of no name movies at Walmart actually had a $150 million dollar budget. You’d have a good performance by Academy Award winning actress, Halle Berry, and some really great CGI space sequences, but you’d still be asking yourself…how is this a movie?

In conclusion, this is definitely a watch on an airplane movie when your options are limited. Which is a shame, because high budget disaster movies are supposed to be enjoyed on the big screen where you can appreciate the CGI and over-the-top sound. But if you go to the theater to see this one, you’ll regret what you see…much like the people in the front row of my talent show.

My rating:

✈️ = Watch only if on a plane and there are no other options
