Marry Me

Just like HR told me when I made my “that’s what she said” joke at our last board meeting, there’s a time and a place for everything. With it being Valentine’s Day, a trip to the movies might be the perfect time and place to enjoy this new love story with that special someone.

Even though there’s not a lot of laugh out loud moments, I found myself entertained throughout. Not only does it check all the boxes to fit the category of a rom-com, or romantic comedy for long, but we also get a taste of the concert scene with some original music and performances by Jennifer Lopez.

Subscribers to the Peacock streaming service will have the chance to watch this one for free from home while it runs in theaters. While some may prefer to “Peacock and chill”, if you’re looking for a date night movie for Valentine’s Day that revolves around romance, there aren’t any surprises here, but this will meet your needs. Either way, this will scratch your rom-com itch.

Bottom line, if you have someone that likes this sort of thing, just try it. You might like it and it’s not too long (that’s what she said). See…time and place.

💳 = Rent it. It’s worth money, but maybe not theater money.
