Bullet Train
Itâs a proven fact that everything seems cooler with the 80âs song âHolding Out for a Heroâ playing in the background. Try opening a jar of peanut butter with that playing at full volume. Itâs epic. Now imagine two men fighting with samurai swords on a speeding train with that song blasting in Japanese and that is what you have here! Smoke âem if you got âem.
The appeal of this movie is the clever banter, the creative construction of the same story told from multiple points of view and the stylistic action sequences. Not to mention the cast. This thing has more star power than Orienâs Belt.
If I had to award it any negatives, it would be that once you know how all the stories are connected it loses ârewatchâ value. But if youâre looking for a one time watch, Bullet Train may be your ticket. Was that a train pun?
In the end, weâre giving this our âGo to the theater to seeâ rating. Go in with an open mind, suspend disbelief, and have some fun with assassins. Now thereâs a phrase I havenât said in a while. AnywaysâŚenjoy the show!
